The project brief was to provide a sensory gateway garden for the health and well being of the children and families of the hospital. The project was completed on time and was officially opened to the public by The Minister for Health, Wales and Diane Engelhardt Noah’s Ark Appeal Patron on 31st May 2012”

The Children’s Hospital needed 100m2 of surfacing to be completed using various shapes and patterns as completed by children of Howells School in Llandaff, Wales.

resin bound surface

We used our Thorset system to complete the resin bound surface. Our resin system combined with 1>5mm aggregate. We then scatter fine glass beads over the surface as it cures to give it an anti-slip texture.
