12 Quays Birkenhead

The Twelve Quays Terminal at Birkenhead is currently used by Stena Line services from Belfast and Isle of Man Steam Packet services and we have had the continued pleasure working at these facilities using our very own product, THORGRIP TM.

Covering a total of 240m² we repaired various areas of the pontoon deck as the existing surface was failing. During this time, it was crucial that the linkspan remained open to ensure business to continue as usual. We successfully completed the repair works with no affects to the operation of the terminal.

We also worked for Peel Ports Group at the terminal, and they were highly pleased with the outcome of the project. All work was successfully completed within all time constraints and suggested budgets. We provided our client with a low maintenance anti-skid surface that is guaranteed to last for years as it’s designed with longevity in mind along with fire-retardant and rust prevention properties.

Both clients were impressed with our product, THORGRIP,  and have therefore been offered continuous works to complete other areas.
